The short version: this is the licence for the LSD desktop app. Installing or using it means you accept these terms. You get to use the app; you don't get to take it apart or redistribute it.
By installing, copying, or using the LSD desktop application you agree to this licence and to our Terms of Service. This includes silent or unattended installations — for example a managed or command-line install — where accepting on your behalf is part of running the installer. If you don't agree, don't install the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the LSD app on devices you control, for your own use, subject to this licence.
Don't reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except where the law expressly allows it; don't redistribute, resell, rent, or sublicense it; don't remove or alter notices; and don't work around its security or licensing features.
The app can check for and install updates automatically, including security fixes. Updates are digitally signed and verified before they're applied. Keeping auto-update on helps keep you secure; where the app lets you turn it off, doing so is at your own risk.
Diagnostic, crash, and bug reports are only sent with your consent. When you choose to send one, it may include technical details about the error and your environment so we can fix it. You control whether these are sent; see the Privacy Note.
Using licensed content in the app requires signing in to grant your device access. The app holds a licence lease that permits offline use for up to 30 days between check-ins and renews when you're online; this is how sealed content stays usable without a constant connection. See the Content EULA for how sealed content and leases behave.
Tools, packages, and other content you install through the app are governed by the Content EULA, not this document. This licence covers the app itself.
The app includes open-source software under its own licences; those licences govern those components and are listed in the app's open-source notices.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties, to the extent the law allows, and our liability is limited as set out in the Terms of Service.
This licence is governed by the laws of Peru, with disputes subject to the courts of Lima, Peru.
This is a plain-language summary of the app licence; the definitive version may be updated — always check the version and date above.
