The short version: LSD is a platform for visual data tools. Create an account, add credits to your balance, buy or enrol in what you like, and follow a few common-sense rules. The full terms are below — they're the agreement between you and the operator of lsd.tools.
lsd.tools ("LSD", "we", "us") is operated by LSD TOOLS S.R.L. (RUC 20600245806), a limited-liability company registered in Peru. These Terms of Service govern your use of the website, the LSD desktop app, and everything you buy, publish, or run through them. Some activities have their own document that forms part of this agreement: the Content EULA, the Desktop App EULA, the Publisher Agreement, the Refund Policy, the Privacy Note, and our copyright policy.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Give us a real email address and verify it — we use it for account and security messages. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password safe. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
Credits are prepaid stored value you add to your account and spend inside LSD. One credit equals one US cent. Credits don't expire and aren't transferable between accounts, and they aren't a bank deposit, e-money, or an investment — they're a prepaid balance you use to buy content and run paid features. Adding credits is a purchase, not a deposit; what you can get back is described in the Refund Policy.
Payments for credits are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. When you pay, you're transacting with Paddle under Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms; Paddle issues your invoice and handles any applicable sales tax or VAT. A chargeback or payment dispute may cause us to freeze your wallet while it's investigated, and can end access to content you obtained with disputed funds.
Tools, courses, and other content are licensed to you, not sold. What you can and can't do with them is set out in the Content EULA. Some content is delivered under a device-sealed licence with an offline lease; some access comes from a pass — a free, time-limited grant that can end early if it's revoked. Prices and availability can change, but a change never alters what you already own under its existing licence.
Don't use LSD to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, attack or overload the service, scrape it at scale, resell access, or get around technical limits and licence protections. Don't upload content you don't have the rights to. We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules or put the platform or other users at risk.
If you publish on LSD, the Publisher Agreement also applies. In short: you keep ownership of your work, you grant us the rights we need to host and distribute it, and paid sales are split 85% to you / 15% to the platform.
The LSD name, site, app, and original content are ours or our licensors'. Content published by others belongs to them. Nothing here transfers ownership of the platform to you — you get the licences these documents describe, nothing more.
How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Note, which is part of these terms. We use first-party, cookieless analytics and only send email you'd expect (account, security, and support).
We work hard to keep LSD running and correct, but we provide it "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if that's greater. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so parts may not apply to you.
We may update these terms; we'll change the version and effective date above and, for material changes, give notice. Continuing to use LSD after a change means you accept it. You can stop using LSD and ask us to delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Note for how.
These terms are governed by the laws of Peru, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Lima, Peru, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you rights in your own country.
